steelworksDuisburg, home of the largest steelworks in Europe, is in my constituency. Duisburg, som er hjemby for Europas største stålværk, ligger i min valgkreds. But these are competitive jobs, for this steelworks is now the number two tool steel manufacturer in the Federal Republic of Germany. Der er imidlertid tale om konkurrencedygtige arbejdspladser, for dette stålværk er nu den næststørste fabrikant af værktøjsstål i Forbundsrepublikken Tyskland. I am thinking in part about people in a number of places in my own country, Sweden, e.g. Borlänge in Dalarna, which has a large steelworks. Jeg tænker bl.a. på menneskene i en række landsbyer i mit hjemland Sverige - f.eks. borgerne i Borlänge i Dalarna, hvor der ligger et stort stålværk.
