Two years ago, in China, I met a psychiatrist who was chair of a disability organisation. Vor zwei Jahren traf ich in China einen Psychiater, der Vorsitzender einer Behindertenorganisation war. It has acted not as a judge but as a doctor; not a surgeon, though, but more like a psychiatrist. Sie hat nicht als Richterin gehandelt, sondern als Ärztin, jedoch nicht als Chirurgin, sondern eher als Psychiaterin. The psychiatrists have a fancy phrase for it, an even fancier phrase than Weltanschauung: they call it 'cognitive dissonance'. Psychiater haben einen ausgefallenen Ausdruck dafür, noch ausgefallener als Weltanschauung: Sie nennen es "kognitive Dissonanz".
