The Council of Europe has firmly condemned the fingerprinting initiative. Der Europarat hat die Fingerabdruck-Initiative klar verurteilt. I would like to say a final word about the legislative fingerprint, which is a good idea in theory but not in practice. Ich möchte noch eine letzte Bemerkung über den legislativen Fingerabdruck machen, der theoretisch eine gute Idee ist, nicht aber in der Praxis. I would have no problem with taking fingerprints from the age of six, because this is all about children and their security. Ich hätte kein Problem, wenn der Fingerabdruck bereits mit sechs Jahren genommen würde, weil es eben um die Kinder und um die Sicherheit der Kinder geht.
