I am Portuguese and, regrettably, I do not speak German, but I do know how to say... Ich bin Portugiesin und spreche leider nicht Deutsch, aber ich weiß doch, wie man Folgendes sagt: I would emphasise the case of Portugal, with which, being Portuguese, I am most familiar. Hierbei möchte ich den Fall Portugals hervorheben, den ich am besten kenne, weil ich Portugiesin bin. As a Portuguese national I want to say how pleased I am because, once again, the name of Lisbon is indelibly linked to a decisive moment in European integration. Als Portugiesin möchte ich noch einmal betonen, wie glücklich ich bin, dass der Name Lissabon unauslöschlich mit einem entscheidenden Moment der europäischen Integration verknüpft ist.
